Recently, Wander Prints received feedback from a customer who encountered difficulties in finalizing their payment using Meta Pay. In this article, we will provide you with information about Meta Pay and guide you on how to successfully complete your payment. We understand the importance of resolving such issues and aim to assist you in understanding how Meta Pay works and ensuring a smooth payment experience.
1. What is Meta Pay
Meta Pay is a seamless and secure way to make payments on Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and in participating online stores. Enter your payment card or account information just once and then use Meta Pay to make purchases, send money, or donate.
2. Why can't you make the purchase with the Meta Pay?
- If you're having trouble paying with a new card on your account, it is possible that:
- The card was declined by the card issuer.
- The card does not have enough funds.
- The card has expired.
- Your Meta Pay account may be disabled if they notice any of the following:
- Unusual activity on your payments account
- Activity that goes against our payments Terms of Service
- Multiple chargebacks on your payments account
- You have not added the Meta Pay as the payment method yet. If you want to finish your payment by Meta Pay, you can follow the instructions provided below:
To add a payment method
- Click this icon in the top right of Facebook.
- Click Orders and payments.
- Below Payment methods, click Add payment method to add a new card or account.
3. How to add or remove the Meta Pay payment?
- In case you have some errors while processing the payment, you cannot use the Meta Pay or you do not want to, please follow this instructions:
To remove a payment method
- Click this icon next to a card or account below Payment methods.
- Select Edit payment method.
- Choose Remove card/account to remove the payment method.
- After removing the Meta Pay, you can purchase with other payment methods. (Visa, Paypal...)
NOTE:
- The requirements for customers to use Meta Pay or the absence of Meta Pay displayed on the checkout page vary depending on the browser and device used.
- Meta Pay option is displayed on the checkout page for customers using Safari on iOS mobile devices, Chrome on Android mobile devices, and Safari or Chrome on desktop devices with an IP address in the United States.
